We are xBooklet, we respect your privacy, and we value the significance of the information you hand over to us. This Privacy Policy describes our practices concerning the information collected by xBooklet and will be referred to “We”, “Our”, and “Us” in this Privacy Policy.

When we say ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ it’s because we own and run the Site and the Mobile App.

  2.  Technical and customer support services which are located in Indian, USA, Belgium and Nigeria.

  4.  Payment processing services which are located in the USA and Nigeria.
  5.  Our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, financial advisers etc.) which are located in USA, Nigeria and Ghana.
  6.  Regulators and government authorities in connection with our compliance procedures and obligations;
  7.  A third party to respond to requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity;
  8.  A third party, in order to enforce or defend our rights, or to address financial or reputational risks;
  9.  A rights holder in relation to an allegation of intellectual property infringement or any other infringement; and
  10.  Other recipients where we are authorised or required by law, or requests by  government, a court of law, or law enforcement authorities, to do so.

Noting that our subcontractors and services providers may also transfer and access such information from other countries in which they have operations.

We take the security of your information seriously, and use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. We also limit access to information about you t employees who reasonably need access to it to provide products and services to you, or in order to do their jobs. However, because no security can be 100% effective, we cannot completely guarantee the security of any information we have collected from you.

 

Where We Transfer And/Or Store Your Personal Information

We are based in Ghana so your data will be processed in Ghana. Some of the recipients we have described to whom we disclose your personal information, are based in places Nigeria, USA, India, Belgium.

 

Information About Children

If you are between the ages of 10 and 16, you can use the Sites or the Mobile App but you’ll need the supervision of a parent or guardian to become a registered user. It’s the responsibility of parents or guardians to monitor their children’s use of our Sites and maintain all passwords and other vital information from third party including credit cards, mobile Money pins and bank details.

Breaches Of These Terms

Without prejudice to xBooklet’s other rights under these Terms, if you breach these Terms in any way, xBooklet’s may take such action as xBooklet’s deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

 

Both personal information and personal data have the same meaning in the context of this Privacy Policy.
